Toledo, Talahdo, Tomato, Tomado

On Wednesday, I have to go to Toledo. Yes, Toledo. The most exciting place on earth.

The saddest part is, this is the only city I’ve ever visited in Ohio. About a year ago, I also had to travel to Toledo.

None of this is by choice.

My company is sending me and several others to a branch location there, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Can’t you tell?

So when I return, I will be sure to regal you with stories of good ole’ Toledo. I know it will be amazing.

I have to go to Springfield on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Chicago just won't be the same without us.

There was a time, in college before I met Dcup, when I did not think Ohio existed. Then my friend took me to his home in Middletown. So 25 years later, I have been all over Ohio but never to Toledo. But maybe I should not talk, I live in rural Georgia.

I've never been to Ohio. When I was a young teen I met a girl from Ohio. I thought she was nice until she tried (almost successfully) to steal my boyfriend. I've hated Ohio ever since! LOL

Mathman, where in rural Georgia are you?

How long in Toledo? Do me a favor and pick me up a Toledo Walleye hockey sweater!

Gilman - I work in suburban Atlanta but live 60 miles from Turner Field at the corner of nowhere and no place in Bartow County Georgia. Where most of the people are friendly but don't even know that Confederacy lost the Civil War.

I know Bartow County. I'm living up in Blairsville, in the land of dry counties. We have a Jefferson Davis impersonator coming to town this weekend.

And Daisy's Mom--I forgot that trick! I'll have to remember that for our Arkansas vacation. LOL!
